Just a few days now before Cetilar Racing’s début on the track at the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, the US circuit that begins this weekend with the traditional Roar before the Rolex 24, the preview of the legendary 24 Hours of Daytona on 29 and 30 January.

The all-Italian team –drivers, car, crew, the support of AF Corse (which continues for the third year running) and the sponsor Cetilar– is now ready to officially launch its American adventure: taking turns at the wheel of the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 no. 47 are Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Antonio Fuoco, with a new fourth man, Alessio Rovera, standing LMGTE Am champion in the FIA WEC.

Four appointments are planned for this year: the Roar before the Rolex 24 and the 24 Hours of Daytona first, followed by the 12 Hours of Sebring to be held in March and then the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen and the Petit Le Mans, which in June and October will complete the USA championship calendar.

After 12 months we are returning to Daytona with plenty of news, – commented Roberto Lacorte – The first is that for us, this time it’s not a single participation but we are sure of racing in all the endurance events in the IMSA series. This year we will be soaking up the atmosphere of American racing in a championship with a high level of competitive performance, battled out on some of the iconic tracks. We are ready to compete in this context for the first time with the Ferrari and in a different category from 2021; all with the precious support of Ferrari and AF Corse, which makes us more aware of being able to do a good job”.

The Roar before the Rolex 24 will begin on Friday with the first two free practice sessions ahead of two other sessions on Saturday morning. The qualifying sessions will also be on Saturday, while on Sunday at 2:05 p.m. local time (6:05 p.m. in Italy), after the warm-up the 100-minute race will begin. Next week on the other hand will be devoted to the famous 24 Hours of Daytona.
