On March 29th, the Cetilar® Racing Team, participant at the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), gave an exclusive preview of their new video “Cetilar® – Sport is in our DNA” during the unveiling event of the new Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.

“Sport is in our DNA. Determination, fun, respect and fair-play. These are the values that sport teaches and which we experience inside our company every day.” These are words spoken by Andrea and Roberto Lacorte, founders of PharmaNutra.

Commitment to sport is how our company visibly and tangibly brings to life two worlds that are rooted in the same principles: objectives, determination, passion, growth, in addition to team work, inclusion and respect.

Through its unfailing support for events and sporting activities, PharmaNutra with Cetilar® has established objectives of promoting sociality and the local area as well as a healthy active lifestyle.

Sporting sponsorships and medical partnerships

The bond between PharmaNutra and sport is an inseparable one that is made stronger by their presence, as either sponsor or medical partner, in numerous sporting disciplines:

• soccer, PharmaNutra has been medical partner to Parma Calcio 1913 for 10 years and main team sponsor for the last four seasons with Cetilar®. The company is also Pisa Sporting Club’s main sponsor for the 2020-2021 season;
• motor racing with the Cetilar® Racing team; the only all-Italian team to participate in the last three editions of the 24 hours of Le Mans and, since 2019, in the World Endurance Championship FIA WEC;
• sailing with FlyingNikka and Vitamina Sailing, the two crews involved with boats branded Cetilar®, and always ready for new challenges.

Cetilar® also sponsors such sporting events as the 151 Miglia, one of the most popular regattas in the Mediterranean with over 250 participating boats, and running events, including the Cetilar® Run, the Cetilar® Pisa Marathon and Florence Marathon.

The Academy Project: real help for young talent

PharmaNutra is not just about top level sport.

This is the reason for Cetilar® Academy, an itinerary of coaching and mentorship thanks to which Cetilar® engages new athletes accelerating their development as human beings and sporting professionals. This includes promising talents in motorsports, from the world of the karts, and young soccer players in the Parma club U.S Arsenal.

“It’s wonderful to be able to help talented young people who don’t have all the tools to cultivate it and develop,” said Roberto Lacorte CEO of PharmaNutra. “This is why we share our experience and provide the best available methods in specific training for upcoming athletes.”

A Joint Effort between Cetilar® and Obiettivo3

Part of the Academy Project is the Cetilar® – Obiettivo3 partnership, which began in 2019. This association was promoted by Champion athlete Alex Zanardi who welcomes, supports and assists people with disabilities who wish to do sports. Over the years, Cetilar® has supported Obiettivo 3 with the purchase of three new handbikes for association athletes, with the purpose of taking these talents to the Paralympics of Tokyo 2021. In 2021 Cetilar® and Obiettivo 3 have promoted the stories of 10 athletes through thematic and motivational mini-pills, find out about them here.
